Growing Collection

 The collection is growing and I thought I should re-arrange things and take a few pictures at the same time.  Really looking forward to the Beaucastel 2007's as that was a great year in France.  Will try to hold off awhile.  Any recommendations on ones to try first?  Got to work on my pictures I know...

Christmas samples

I have been meaning to get around to putting down the favorites of late with some comments but you know how that goes...  Here were a couple from Christmas night that were worth mentioning.  The Bianchi definitely punched above its weight.  The Gabbiano was nice but not quite what I wanted in a Chianti.  The Hick inBotham was a surprise and actually one of my favorites for awhile.  It would seem that Australia is really mounting a comeback after some hard years with drought.  Perhaps the wineries are treating us to a little better stock than regular at slightly lower prices to try and claw back some market share...  Just speculation but I'll take it.
